Lendlease Engineering is currently seeking qualified Dump Truck Operators to join their team based at Badgerys Creek.
Lendlease Engineering, together with its Joint Venture Partner CPB Contractors, has been awarded the $644 million contract to undertake the major bulk earthworks package at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
This extensive package of works includes delivery of the detailed design and construction of earthworks and drainage for the new airport, as well as topographical design for the entire airport precinct. It is one of Australia’s largest ever bulk earthworks infrastructure projects to be awarded outside of the mining sector and is scheduled for completion in 2022.
Our Engineering business offers a comprehensive civil engineering capability. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and other Civil Infrastructure.
At the direction of our management team, you will operate our onsite plant, working to achieve project goals and deadlines. While doing so, you will adhere to all Lendlease Safety rules and responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to identify any mechanical faults and/or servicing requirements on plant. You may be required to work independently or in a team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate;
- Significant bulk earthworks experience in a similar role.
- Experience operating CAT 773 or Komatsu HD605 Dump Trucks
- Relevant Plant ticket/s, current driver licence and White Card.
- Full commitment to upholding safe work practices.
- A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude.
